Tour Description
Trekking to the 7 lakes of Ausangate, surrounded by Andean landscapes, local wildlife and ending with relaxation in hot springs.
The 7 Lakes Trekking Tour is a unique experience that combines nature, adventure and relaxation in the Andes of Cusco. The day begins very early, between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m., with a hotel pickup to head to the village of Pacchanta, located at the foot of the imposing Ausangate mountain.
After enjoying a typical breakfast, the hike begins towards the seven glacial lakes: Azulcocha, Otorongo, Oquecocha, Murococha, Pucacocha, Alpacocha and Qomercocha. Each one displays different shades ranging from deep blue to emerald green, creating a spectacular landscape.
During the trek, panoramic views of the Ausangate and Qayangate mountain ranges can be enjoyed, along with Andean wildlife such as alpacas, llamas, vizcachas and various birds. With a bit of luck, it is even possible to spot the majestic Andean condor.
After completing the circuit, you return to Pacchanta for a relaxing soak in the hot springs. A buffet lunch is then served before setting off on the return journey to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7:00 p.m.
